Battlestar Galactica

galactica.jpg

I gotta agree with the critics Battlestar Galactica is just the best show out there right now. For those of you that think this is a sci-fi show just like Star Wars I need to tell you that you are very wrong. This show is mostly a drama that happens to be in space and you don’t see weird looking creatures like in SW, don’t get me wrong I love SW but I am loving Galactica more and more.

The 3rd Season of this award Sc-Fi channel series starts on October 6th and I just can’t wait. How did I get hooked? I took the first 2 series out from my library and just couldn’t stop watching them. My whole family is hooked on this show. I tell you it’s better that anything out there right now.

Please check it out and thank me later.

Monster what??

We wanted to spend a nice family movie day but when we got the tickets, we were all very surprised.

I don’t think this kind of movie could have a PG rating, see it for yourself…. :-)

Superman Returns…

Just came back from watching the movie and it was pretty decent, there were some things I didn’t like and a plane scene that will have you on the edge of your seat. I won’t say much that way I won’t spoil the movie but overall for me, Superman returns was like a 8 out of 10. Maybe later I will talk about the things that I liked and not liked.

Bite my shiny metal…Wooohoooo!!!

baby Futurama

Th Future is bright for Futurama!!

Billy West, the Cartoon voice over legend, has revealed that four Futurama movies are in the works. West is well know for the voices of both Ren and Stimpy, Fry, Farnsworth, Zoidberg and Zapp Brannigan on Groening’s underrated and sorely-missed Futurama.

He posted this news over the weekend on his official site billywest.com

The US network Fox have, of course decommissioned the sci-fi comedy, following its huge success in DVD sales of the four series.

This information was brought to West’s attention when contacted by the series co-creator and producer David X. Cohen:

“David X. phoned me about an hour ago and said that this Futurama project is a done deal! There are 4 DVD movies that we’ll start recording at the end of July or August. Full feature length FUTURAMA movies. Everybody is excited to get back together-as I am!”

Summer boredom with Crypto…

Man it’s been a long time since I post anything.
This summer I have been enjoying some old movies with my kids, since we are broke and are stuck here in the house all day the library has been the source of our pleasure.
They have a bunch of DVD’s for free that you can take for a week.
So far we have seen all of these old movies;

The Breakfast Club
The Last Action Hero
Batman (the first one from Tim Burton)
The Wall
Children of the Corn
Monthy Python’s The Holy Grail
Goodfellas
War Games
Project X
The Outsiders
Clash of the Titans
Gremlins
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
Cujo
The Craft
Johnny Dangerously

Other than watching movies and staying at home I have been playing a lot of “Destroy All Humans” on my Xbox, this game just rocks, there is nothing more satisfying than spending time incinerating humans with my disintegrating gun and blowing up cities with my flying saucer.

The Circle Is Now Complete…

May 19 will be here very soon and we Hardcore Star Wars Fans will have or revenge and the completion of the Star Wars Story.

It all started back in 77 when I was only 7 years old when I went to see this futuristic movie with some friends from school, I don’t remember much from those days but this even I do remember it well. I always love the scene where Luke stands looking at the 2 suns setting down. From that day on everything we played and talk about was Star Wars.
